ARK mindfulness exercises are reflections of practices to train the lower mind to induce a different consciousness and awareness state. There are many definitions of consciousness for psychology; one of them is related to the relationships with themselves, another one coming from the metaphysical field believes that there is just One consciousness with different areas related to attention or presence. In this interpretation, there are also some different focus of attention: those are directions of engagement that are influenced by intent and will. Generally, in mindfulness exercises, there are a wide variety of practices and techniques. ARK guides just a few of them linked to heart’s/mind balance. When you think that the logical mind through reflection can give you the explanations you are looking for, you are wrong; if you believe that it can be the feelings and impressions that can give you the answers you are looking for, you are wrong. The keys come from the unity of mind and feelings, from reasoning and intuition together, the resolutions come from joy and well-being; in other words, the responses come from the heart. Ark mindfulness exercises are simple and effective meditations that can lead, for some, to the reduction of the overwhelming personality, succeeding in rare cases to decrease the presence of what is defined, as EGO, the representation and the foundation of character. In those rare cases, is possible to drop most of the fears which condition our daily life decisions; those during meditations are vanished and often replaced by compassion and acceptance, having the perception of a pure eternal existence continuum. In ARK mindfulness experiences, the simplest way to do this is through the well-known opening’s Heart meditations. To free the mind with heart’s exercises is an easy and effective habit, and the more is practised, the more one can have greater awareness in the perception of the self. In ordinary daily life, after practising the ARK Heart/Mindfulness exercises, one can learn how to pay attention to life itself, to be aware and focused on his activities, feelings, thoughts and relationship, appreciating the details, controlling overwhelming fears, some other negative emotions achieving new meanings and purposes in life. Most of these techniques are described in ARK’s essays and lectures.
